On Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 5:00-6:00pm EST, AMS TRADE’s International Trade Advisor, Alissa Chase, will be a featured speaker on a virtual panel discussion presented jointly by the Customs and International Trade Association (CITBA) and the American Society of International Law (ASIL) entitled “Careers and Internships in International Trade, Customs, and Export Controls Law.” The discussion will focus on the many opportunities currently available in international trade law and how to get a career started. Alissa will be joined by the Hon. Jennifer Choe-Groves, Judge for the U.S. Court of International Trade; Noma Ndlovu, International Trade Counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance; Derick Holt, partner at Wiley Rein LLP; and moderator Roop Bhatti, counsel to Commissioner Jason E. Kearns of the U.S. International Trade Commission.

This event is geared towards law school students and other recent graduates interested in international trade law. The virtual panel discussion will also have a hybrid viewing option for registrants in Chicago, Houston, and Washington, D.C., who will have the chance to view the panel at a law firm or government office and meet with government and firm attorneys.
