On Friday, September 30th, AMS TRADE LLP Managing Partner, Deanna Okun, will be the featured speaker on a panel entitled “The USITC – Investigation and Analysis” at the Washington International Trade Association’s (WITA) 2022 Virtual Intensive Trade Seminar (ITS), held in partnership with the Institute for International Economic Policy at George Washington University and the World Trade Center DC. Ms. Okun will discuss the U.S. International Trade Commission’s role in adjudicating unfair import statutes and providing analysis to the President and the Congress on trade and competitiveness issues.

Each year, WITA hosts the ITS to help educate those seeking a career in trade policy as well as anyone seeking to broaden their understanding of how trade policy is made in Washington, DC. The ITS is one of WITA’s signature programs and this year’s seminar is a multi-day event presenting the entire curriculum online, via Zoom.
