Join DC members on August 9, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm, to hear Sarah Ellerman, Deputy Assistant, USTR for Southeast Asia and the Pacific at the U.S. Office of the Trade Representative, and Eric Holloway, Deputy Director, Office of East Asia and APEC at the U.S. Department of Commerce, discuss the outcomes and prospects for negotiations from the July 26 virtual Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) ministerial hosted by the Biden Administration.

Last month’s virtual ministerial featured U.S. Trade Representative, Katherine Tai, and Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo, in a discussion of the Biden Administration’s continued development of the IPEF. Tomorrow’s event is a face-to-face opportunity to hear Ms. Ellerman and Mr. Holloway discuss the outcomes from the ministerial and prospects for the negotiations. Following their remarks, the speakers will take questions from the audience. All remarks and responses to questions will be off the record.
