Deanna Tanner Okun will moderate a Federal Circuit Bar Association townhall discussion on the topic "How do Recent Agency Actions, Court Decisions, and WTO Decisions Impact Lawyers and Companies Bringing Cases Under Title VII and Section 337 of the Trade Act?"
On June 26, 2015, Deanna will participate in a FCBA townhall discussion in Dana Point, CA, on how recent agency actions, court and WTO decisions have impacted not only lawyers but also companies bringing cases under Title VII and Section 337 of the Trade Act of 1930. The panel provides judicial, agency and practitioner perspectives on recent decisions by the WTO, the CAFC, and CIT.
She will also explore how those decisions have generated debate about the future adjudication of trade remedy laws. In addition, the panel will offer meaningful dialogue on the important new initiatives to improve enforcement of orders and address other changes that could improve the administration of trade remedy laws.
