Okun to Participate on 2021 FCBA Bench and Bar Panel
Deanna Tanner Okun, managing partner and international trade lawyer at AMS, will be a panelist at the 2021 Federal Circuit Bar Association (FCBA)’s Bench and Bar virtual conference. She will be part of the panel on June 24th at 4:00 pm ET titled, “Section 337: Latest Developments at the ITC”.
Topics include the ITC’s jurisdiction, the use of Section 337 to protect non-patent intellectual property, developments in the domestic industry requirements, indirect infringement post-Suprema, the ITC’s recently announced pilot program on interim Initial Determinations and the continually evolving interface between the ITC and the Patent and Trials Appeal Board (“PTAB”) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The panel will be moderated by Jeffrey Lesovitz, partner at BakerHostetler. Other panelists include:
