Welcome Summer Associates
By Olivia Cacchione; Edited by Deanna Tanner Okun & Alissa M. Chase
The AMS Summer Associate program allows participants to gain hands-on experience working on cases and projects with attorneys and partners at the firm. It also allows our firm to gain talented additions to our team. We determined that working remotely due to the pandemic wouldn’t stop the firm from continuing this successful program. For our first blog post, we’re thrilled to introduce our new summer associates, Jessica Sullivan and Sean Wesp. Both are students currently pursuing their juris doctorate at The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC.
Jessica received her BS in economics, minor in political science, and concentration in management from Purdue University. She has experience as a student attorney at Rising for Justice: Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic, a law clerk at the Alexandria Office of the Public Defender, a court advocate, administrative assistant & volunteer legal advocacy intern at the Crisis Center for South Suburbia, an economic education intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and a resident honors preceptor at Purdue University Residences. In her free time, Jessica plays saxophone in a local law school band.
Sean received his BS in biology and BA in history from the George Washington University. His experience includes working as a law student volunteer at the Office of Vaccine Litigation, Department of Justice, a life sciences intern at Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, a judicial intern at the Chambers of Special Master Mindy Roth at the Office of Special Masters of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and coordinating officer for Bidding at the Central Atlantic Affiliate of NACURH, The George Washington University. In his free time, Sean enjoys cooking and French baking.
