Managing Intellectual Property’s Top 250 Women in IP was launched in 2013 to recognize the leading female IP practitioners in private practice who performed exceptionally well for their clients and their firm that year. Considerations also include activities in the IP community and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Deanna Tanner Okun was named to the Top 250 Women in IP list for 2020. This is the eighth consecutive year she has received this honor. She was selected in January as the new managing partner at AMS, the first change in leadership since its founding by Jim Adduci in 1981. She has represented the firm in multiple publications and speeches this year, and has received high praise and rankings by Chambers, Super Lawyers, and other rankings agencies. She’s also had success representing clients in the international trade and customs arena.
