BIO        |

David H. Hollander, Jr. is an international trade and intellectual property attorney. Since 2001, David’s practice has focused almost exclusively on Section 337 unfair trade investigations before U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). David has represented both complainants and respondents in complex investigations involving a variety of alleged unfair acts, including patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation, as well as post-investigation enforcement proceedings and appeals from the ITC to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. David's clients have included both large multinational corporations and smaller entities appearing for the first time in an ITC investigation.

Prior to joining the firm, David served for over six years as an Investigative Attorney in the Office of Unfair Import Investigations at the ITC. In that role, David became well-versed in the procedural and substantive nuances of Section 337 practice. Since leaving the ITC, David's practice has emphasized the unique aspects of Section 337, including the evolving "domestic industry" requirement. David draws on his experience and his knowledge of intellectual property law to provide effective and efficient advocacy on behalf of his clients.

David is an editor and contributing author to the American Bar Association’s book entitled "A Lawyer’s Guide to Section 337 Investigations Before the U.S. International Trade Commission," now in its fourth edition.

David is an adjunct faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, where he teaches a course in Business Law.
