Two AMS Section 337 Cases Instituted

Two Section 337 cases involving AMS-represented complainants were instituted on Friday at the International Trade Commission.

In Certain Artificial Eyelash Extension Systems, Products, and Components Thereof (337-TA-1226), the ITC will examine whether respondents, including Walmart Inc., Kiss Nail Products Inc. and CVS Health Corp., are in violation of Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930. AMS client and complainant, Lashify Inc., accuses those companies of importing products that infringe its artificial eyelash extension patents. AMS is co-counsel with Fenwick & West LLP. AMS also represents complainant Q3 Networking in Certain Routers, Access Points, Controllers, Network Management Devices, Other Networking Products, and Hardware and Software Components Thereof, (337-TA-1227). Q3 Networking accuses companies, including Hewlett Packard Enterprise, CommScope and Netgear, of infringement by these imports.
